Control all the electrical appliances in your house via a computer. Dim the lights, turn on a fan, manage the garden irrigation system.. This was one of the technologies demonstrated by Harol Krol of Computer care Computer Care last Thursday. Marmitec is one of the leaders in the hardware for this technology. Voice Recognition
Advances in Voice Recognition and monitoring the elderly at home, with introductory clips from "Click on Line" Presentation by Chris Betterton-Jones. Windows 7 Release Candidate
A copy of Windows 7 Release Candidate is now available, on DVD, from the Club,
No need for a lengthy download from Microsoft. This Release Candidate will operate until around March 2010.

There is a dedicated section on the Club's Message Board for Windows7
Installation Key Numbers, issued by Microsoft, are listed there.

Note: We have the earlier Beta version installed on our shuttlebox for everyone to play with.
Good news: it is quicker than Vista! Come to the Club and take a look.

FREE software available at the Club

This free software such as Open Office, Firefox and Windows Service Packs is now available at the Club for copying to memory stick or cd. While you are at it get a copy of CCleaner - Award winning software which is great for cleaning the C off your PC.

Eurocartridge
This company sells blank CDs, DVDs, Ink cartridges and small accessories at Pedreguer Rastro.
They do not have a shop but visit the Club every Second Monday and last Thursday of the month. See Calendars

Where we are
The Club meets at: The Javea School of Bridge premises, Edificio Arenal 80, Bloque 1 (Sotano), Avenida Tamarits, Javea, three times a week from 9:45am until around 12:30, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. See Club Programme and Calendars
